Your route will be determined by where animals are active, so you’ll have the best chance of seeing predators hunting, herds moving across prairie corridors, and birds flying overhead. If migration is in season, you may witness large groups of wildebeest and zebra moving in coordinated patterns—one of Africa’s most dramatic wildlife events. Keep an eye out for lions resting in the shade, hyenas near carcasses, and playful cheetahs testing the winds while hunting. Throughout the day, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch or stop at a guesthouse depending on your itinerary. In the afternoon, you return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 Serengeti to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater: down for a crater safari

Tarangire is also famous for its birdlife, so keep your camera ready to spot colorful species in the surrounding waters and open plains. As the day progresses, the animals become more active and you may see antelope roaming under the shade of the acacias while predators remain alert in the distance.
