One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting in Denver’s Valverde neighborhood early Saturday, police said.
The Denver Police Department reported the shooting in the 1500 block of West Maple Avenue on social media at 5:42 a.m
One person was taken to hospital with a leg injury and a second person was pronounced dead at the scene, police at X said.
Police are investigating the shooting and additional information is not yet available.
