The Toronto Police Service is asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle linked to an alleged hate-motivated attack in the city’s north end.
Police said the incident occurred on April 30 in the area of Bathurst Street and Lawrence Avenue West, where a suspect in a vehicle allegedly fired an Orbeez-style replica gun at the victims who were identifiable members of the Jewish community.

Investigators said the victims suffered minor injuries and the suspect fled the scene in a blue SUV.
This case is being treated as an alleged hate-motivated offense and is being led by the police’s Hate Crimes Unit.
Police have released video of the vehicle and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
The incident occurred as May marks Canadian Jewish Heritage Month, which is a time to recognize the contributions of Canadian Jews and celebrate Jewish culture, history and communities across the country.
