Diane Cooper and her Dalmatian have been missing for more than 10 days, and RCMP believe the 82-year-old Alberta woman is somewhere in Saskatchewan.
Its last confirmed sighting was in Hoosier, Sask., a community 260 kilometers from Saskatoon, 11 days ago. If seen, he may have been “disoriented and confused,” according to a Mounties news release.
Mounties believe he is still traveling with his dog, Halo.
Initially, after their disappearance on April 6, the Air Tag tracking Cooper and Halo’s location was responsive, and said he was near Veterans, Alta., according to Empress RCMP.
When police in Alberta responded to the call, they couldn’t find him.
Officers also tracked him as he passed through Stettler, Alta., and Hanna, Alta., that day. RCMP say they believe he was at the location based on sightings of his dog, his vehicle and his key chain.
Someone in Stettler told the Mounties they gave Cooper directions to Calgary, which was a two-hour drive west, but he was headed east.

He was later seen in Saskatchewan at 11 p.m. His vehicle was seen on surveillance footage of a Hoosier business. The clip of Cooper, with Halo in the background, was shared with police a week later, RCMP said. This was the last confirmed sighting of the two.
His Air Tag stopped sending his location the next day.
Cooper is described as having blue eyes and white hair, with a slim build. He was five feet one inch tall, weighed 100 pounds and had to wear glasses.
Cooper is believed to be driving his gray Toyota C-HR XLE, with Alberta license plate LVA978.

On April 8, Mounties in Alberta and Saskatchewan asked for the public’s help in locating Cooper and received multiple tips. None of the information reported turned up, and the search for Cooper continued.
“[An] An Alberta RCMP Air Services flight was completed with a negative result” that day, according to a news release sent Friday.
Tips were continuously sent to the Mounties but yielded no results, they said. Both provinces have carried out air searches. The Saskatchewan RCMP search and rescue unit, marshals and surveillance services and traffic services were all notified of the missing woman on Wednesday.
